We are excited to share with you one of the latest features of SayIt!, our easy AAC app – Voices.

For individuals with speech impairments, finding the right words to communicate can be a challenge. That’s why we have included a wide range of high-quality voices in SayIt! that can be used to read out Phrases. These voices are provided by Acapela Group and are specifically designed to be clear and easy to understand. In addition to that, we also provide an option for users to record their own voice, which will make it more personal and easy for their loved ones to understand them.

In addition to the voices, SayIt! also includes a wide range of other features, such as Phrase Boards, Phrases, and Global Symbols that make it a powerful communication tool for individuals with speech impairments.

We understand that everyone’s needs are different, that’s why we have included multiple voices with various options such as gender and age. It will give users the flexibility to select the voice that best suits their needs.

I’m excited to share with you one of the most powerful features of SayIt!, our easy AAC app – Global Symbols.

For individuals with speech impairments, finding the right words to communicate can be a challenge. That’s why we developed SayIt! to include a wide range of symbols that can be added to Phrase Boards and Phrases. These symbols, also known as Picture Communication Symbols (PCS), help to supplement spoken words and provide a visual representation of what is being said.

One of the most important aspects of using symbols for communication is consistency. That’s why we have included a library of Global Symbols that can be used across all Phrase Boards and Phrases. This means that once a symbol has been added to a Phrase or Phrase Board, it can be reused in other Phrases and Phrase Boards, making it easy to create a consistent communication system.

The Global Symbols library is constantly being updated with new symbols, so you’ll always have access to the latest and most relevant symbols.

In addition to the Global Symbols, SayIt! also includes a wide range of other features, such as Phrase Boards, Phrases, and high-quality voices, that make it a powerful communication tool for individuals with speech impairments.

I’m excited to announce that we are now accepting beta testers for our latest app, augy. We’ve been working hard to develop this powerful communication tool, and we’re eager to get it into the hands of users who can help us test and improve it.

augy is designed to help individuals with speech impairments communicate more effectively and express themselves more easily. It includes a variety of features, such as a phrase prediction system, high-quality voices, and the ability to add and organize phrases. We’re also using AI to improve the user experience and make it more efficient.

As a beta tester, you’ll have the opportunity to try out the app before it’s released to the public, and you’ll play a crucial role in helping us make it the best it can be. We’ll be relying on your feedback to identify bugs, improve performance, and make sure that the app is as user-friendly as possible.

I am Owen McGirr, the creator of SayIt! – an innovative Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) tool that helps individuals with speech impairments communicate more effectively.

As someone who lives with cerebral palsy, I understand the challenges that come with communication. That’s why I created SayIt! – to help others with similar struggles.

SayIt! is a user-friendly app that allows users to create and organize custom phrases, and quickly find the words and phrases they need. It also includes a fast word prediction system, symbols from Global Symbols, and a variety of natural-sounding voices from Acapela Group. The ability to sync settings, Phrase Boards, and Phrases across iOS devices makes SayIt! a versatile and practical solution for communication on the go.

One of the most important features of SayIt! is the ability to add symbols from Global Symbols to Phrase Boards and Phrases. This feature helps users create more meaningful and accurate sentences, and convey their thoughts and needs more effectively. It’s especially helpful for individuals who have difficulty understanding or using written language, such as those with autism or cognitive impairments.

Additionally, SayIt! includes a variety of voices from Acapela Group, allowing users to choose from different languages, genders, and ages. This feature can enhance the communication experience for individuals with speech impairments and can also be beneficial for individuals with hearing impairments.

I am extremely proud of SayIt! and the impact it has had on the lives of individuals with speech impairments. My personal experience with cerebral palsy gives me a unique perspective on the AAC needs and I have put all my passion and dedication into creating this app.

I was also honored to receive the MIT Innovators Under 35 Europe award for SayIt!. This award acknowledges the potential of SayIt! to change the world for the better and highlights the hard work and dedication that went into creating it.
